So today you were all rubbish and forgot your sheets!! Please remember them for next lesson. That said you all did really well improvising a half bar fill. Practice using the four 8th note gap in the second bar to build your own fills.

Today we went over tech ex D and the first line to big ideas. You have both the sheets you need to practice both parts. There's is also a pic of the ex and a break down of bar of bar 4 of the grist line of the piece

So Michael your looking at the first four lines of overrated for next week. Take care with counting your fills!

Fairfield: Jake Ryan Dylan

Today we did 8th notes and 16th notes as singles and doubles. Practice how to count them and remember to keep your hands soft and throw the sticks down to get them to bounce up.
We used these stickings as fill in the 2nd ex voicing it around the drums. Practice for next week please.
